Goldie Steinberg was born Oct. 30, 1900, in Moldova and moved to the United States in 1923. She married Philip Steinberg in 1932 and had two children, Anne (Teicher) and Donald (Sargent). Goldie was widowed in 1967. She lived in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, before moving to Grandell Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Long Beach. She enjoys reading the newspaper, catching up on the national political scene and watching the Yankees on TV. Since coming to America, Goldie has voted in every U.S. presidential election. She has two grandsons and one great-grandson. She celebrated her birthday with a party at Grandell with family, friends and staff.
