Centenarian: Grace Day

GRACE DAY was born Sept. 21, 1908, in Brooklyn. She spent her adult years in East Rockaway and Island Park where she was active in the United Methodist Church. She worked for an insurance agency in Manhattan and at Lido Beach Country Club, where her father was manager. She has lived at Dominican Village in Amityville since 2004, where she enjoys feeding the birds, gardening and crocheting.
