Centenarian: Grace Oreamuno of West Islip

Grace Oreamuno was born May 9, 1906, in Costa Rica and immigrated to the United States in 1928. She married, Carlos in 1930. He had also emigrated from Costa Rica. They raised three children, Eugenia, Carlos (now deceased) and Albert. Her husband died in 1951. Grace has nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She celebrated her 104th birthday at Our Lady of Consolation Nursing and Rehabilitative Care Center in West Islip with her family.
