Centenarian: Hattie Ravitch, St. James

Hattie Ravitch, nee Miller, was born April 19, 1905, in Manhattan. She married Alexander Kaiser at age 23. After being widowed at 44, she then married Joe Ravitch. She has a son, Lenny Kaiser (another son, Burt Kaiser, is now deceased), as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing, reading and cooking. She lived in New Rochelle before moving to the St. James Plaza Nursing Facility seven years ago. There she enjoys current events and games. She celebrated her birthday there with her family, the residents and staff.
