Centenarian: Ida Berenbaum, E. Northport

IDA BERENBAUM, née Patiky, was born Feb. 17, 1911. She married Hyman Berenbaum, now deceased, on Nov. 20, 1932. She has two children, Robert Berenbaum and Linda Kepke; a third, Sheila Zucker, is deceased. Raised in her family's business, she was a local businesswoman for about 75 years, owning and managing a number of commercial and residential properties in East Northport. Ida enjoys spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is a long-time resident of East Northport and is a member of the East Northport Jewish Center.
