Centenarian: Leo Jenkins Sr.
LEO JENKINS SR. was born July 11, 1912, in South Carolina. He moved to Long Island in 1946, where he met and married his wife, Vernell, now deceased. They settled in Copiague, where they raised three children. Leo is a World War II veteran and a retired carpenter. His favorite pastimes are watching TV, reading, and listening to gospel programs on the radio. He enjoys conversation and sharing life stories with family and friends.
