Marcia Bruner was born March 12, 1913, in Brooklyn. She met her husband Joseph (now deceased) at Coney Island, and they were married for 57 years. They had three children -- Charles, Diane and Esther. Marcia and Joseph traveled to Europe and Israel. She was involved in Hadassah, was an avid knitter and loved doing needlepoint. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren in Coram and Woodbury. She worked for The Federation for the Handicapped, and Travelers Aid. She enjoys watching television and Mets baseball, especially David Wright. Marcia has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday with family who traveled from Georgia, Florida, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
