Margaret (Domenica Losquadro) Fiore was born April 29, 1913, in Toritto, Italy, and immigrated to the United States at age 6. She graduated from New York City PS 1. She married John Fiore in 1934 and had six children: Ferdinand, Joseph, Nick, Gerard, Pauline and John. Margaret raised her family in Flushing-Bayside, Queens. She traveled to Italy often to visit her hometown and relatives. Her husband, John, died in 1994. Margaret lives in the first home they bought in 1955. She loves to cook, cares for her fig trees, and is a devout Catholic. She enjoys visiting her children and grandchildren on Long Island. Margaret has 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She celebrated with a party at the Jericho Terrace in Mineola with more than 150 family members and friends.
