MARIE SCIACHETANO, née Gasparello, was born Oct. 7, 1910, in Barre, Vt. Her sister is deceased; her brother Anthony is 89. The family moved to Brooklyn where Marie had 12 years of school. She married Anthony Sciachetano and was a stay-at-home mom to their son, Robert. She was widowed in 1978 and her son died in 1990. She lived in Florida for 25 years and at 92 moved to Long Island. She has a daughter-in law, Joann, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She has lived at Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center in Massapequa for six years, where she enjoys visits from family, watching movies and socializing. She celebrated her birthday there at a party with family and friends.
