Marion Costa, born Aug. 24, 1913, in Manhattan, is one of five children. Her parents emigrated from Italy in 1908. Marion grew up in Manhattan and after graduation from high school she worked in the Garment District. She enjoyed reading, baking and sewing. She married Nicholas Costa and lived in North Babylon. In 1986, they moved to Selden where they lived with cousins. After being widowed, she moved to Sunrise Assisted Living in East Setauket. She celebrated her birthday with family and friends at Sunrise.
