Centenarian: Martin Lerman

Martin Lerman was born Feb. 4, 1913. He married Anne and they lived in the Bronx, Westchester, New Jersey and Florida before moving to Gurwin Assisted Living in Commack. Martin was a salesman before owning his own carpet store in Mount Vernon. He has enjoyed playing tennis and softball and traveling. Martin likes watching professional sports and spending time with family. His wife, Anne, is 99, and his brothers Manny and Jack are 103 and 105, respectively. Martin celebrated his birthday, Anne's birthday and their 75th anniversary at a restaurant with family and friends. Martin has two children, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
