Centenarian: Mildred (Millie) Lincoln Kelly

Mildred (Millie) Lincoln Kelly was born Feb. 12, 1913. She is proud to be born on the same day of the year as President Abraham Lincoln. That is how she got her middle name, Lincoln. Mildred graduated from Hunter College in 1934. She married Thomas in 1939 and was widowed after more than 50 years of marriage. She celebrated her birthday with her two children, Paul and Peggy, their spouses, six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. When asked to what she attributes her longevity she said "not smoking, eating broccoli, doing crossword puzzles and walking."
