Centenarian: Prudence Vona

Prudence Vona was born July 6, 1913, in Brooklyn and moved to Patchogue at age 2. She married John Vona in 1938 and moved to Center Moriches. Prudence was widowed in 1999. She is an active member of the Center Moriches Senior Citizens Club since 1977. She has two children, Mary Procopio and Matthew Vona of Florida. She has a son-in-law, Pat, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Prudence celebrated her birthday at Lombardi's on the Bay with family and friends.
