Centenarian: Raymond Schibowski
RAYMOND SCHIBOWSKI was born Aug. 7, 1910. He grew up in Brooklyn with two sisters. His family had a summer home in Cooperstown. As a young man, Raymond played football and baseball. He started on Wall Street as a runner delivering paperwork between offices and brokerages. He was a senior partner with Dreyfus & Co. and then with Moore and Schley, Cameron & Co. He lived in Upper Brookville for many years with his wife, Muriel, and their daughter, Anne. He enjoyed golf and fishing. After being widowed in 2002, he moved to Pennsylvania and then Florida. In 2007 he returned to Long Island and lives at Oyster Bay Manor. He celebrated there with family and other residents.
