Centenarian: Sally Liss
Sally Liss was born Dec. 12, 1912, and emigrated from Russia to America in the early 1920s. She married Gabriel Liss, now deceased, in 1936, and lived on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Sally worked for Orbach's on 34th Street in Manhattan. She has two children, Roberta and David, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She enjoys crafts, music and bingo. She and her family celebrated her birthday at Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care & Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park.
