Centenarian: Sylvia Stulberger

Sylvia Stulberger was born Jan. 24, 1913, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. She married Harry Lesser in 1936 and had two children, Lois and Alan. Sylvia raised her family in Flushing-Hillcrest, Queens. Harry died in 1970. Sylvia married her second husband, Zoltan Stulberger, in 1972. He died in 1992. In 2009 she moved to Brandywine Senior Living at Huntington Terrace in Melville, where she lives in the independent living facility. She loves music, humor, mah-jongg, canasta, bingo and singing. Sylvia has four grandsons and three great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday with a party at The Woodlands Country Club in Woodbury with family and friends.
