Centenarian: Theresa Rescigna-Salerno
Theresa Rescigna-Salerno, born April 6, 1908, in Brooklyn, married Michael Salerno (now deceased), and worked for Corona Spices in Brooklyn. She has two children, James and Philomena, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her sisters Louise and Josie are in their 90s. Theresa enjoyed trips to Atlantic City until she was 100. She likes going to the salon to get her hair and nails done, and spending time with grandchildren, Teresa Jennings of Plainedge, Donna Davis of East Meadow and ToniAnn Russo of Manhasset. She celebrated her birthday with family.
