Centenarian: Wilhelmina Ober
Wilhelmina Ober was born July 15, 1909, in Germany, the second oldest of 15 children. She immigrated to the United States in January 1928. She married Leonard Ober (now deceased) and lived in Flushing before moving to Bayside, where she lived for more than 60 years. Wilhelmina had five children: Rosemarie Cody, Leonard, Irmgard Huber, Wilhelmina Diez and John (now deceased). She has eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She lives with her daughter Wilhelmina in Greenvale, where she celebrated her birthday with family.
