Reports from county or village police, Jan. 24-30
A school bus was hit by another vehicle at Newtown and Cooper lanes on Jan. 29. Three children were aboard the bus. No injuries were reported.
A 14-year-lold East Hampton girl was arrested Jan. 26 on Gingerbread Lane for petty larceny.
An iPhone was stolen from a locker at YMCA on Gingerbread Lane on Jan. 28.
A Southampton woman, 32, was arrested on Montauk Highway on Jan. 30 and charged with driving while intoxicated.
A suspicious person was reported on Green Street on Jan. 30.
A 17-year-old youth was arrested Jan. 25 on Fox Lane and charged with second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal trespass.
The fence of the Auto Auction lot on Peconic Avenue was cut Jan. 24, and a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on the property.
Prescription medications were discovered stolen Jan. 27 from a Walgreens pharmacy on Route 112.
North Bellport
Copper piping, a hot water heater and an HVAC unit were discovered missing Jan. 27 from a vacant house on Mead Avenue. The rear door of the building was broken to gain entry.
A wool coat, valued at $150, was stolen from an unlocked locker at Planet Fitness on Kroemer Avenue on Jan. 28.
The Long Island Cauliflower Association on Marcy Avenue was marked with graffiti Jan. 27.
Bagel Lovers Cafe on Osborne Avenue was marked with graffiti Jan. 26.
Parts were stolen from two vehicles parked at Eagle Auto Mall on Old Country Road Jan. 26. The loss was valued at $25,000.
An unknown woman stole $2,500 worth of clothing Jan. 26 from Hugo Boss on West Main Street. She fled in a burgundy Toyota Camry, the report said.
Southampton
A Hampton Bays man, 40 was arrested Jan. 24 on Noyac Road and charged with driving while intoxicated.
On Jan. 28, an unknown woman attempted to cash a fake check for $1,970 from the local fire district at a bank in Worcester, Mass.
Two New York license plates were stolen from a vehicle on Long Pond Road on Jan. 27.
A mailbox on Gregory Way valued at $50 was damaged Jan. 27.
Vandals threw eggs at the siding and window of a home on Kay Road on Jan. 25. The damage was estimated at $100.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on North Country Road on Jan. 25.
ELSEWHERE
Cash, a checkbook, tools and credit cards were discovered stolen Jan. 27 from a vehicle parked on Clubhouse Drive.
Two vehicles were discovered damaged and three dealer license plates stolen Jan. 26 at the Sunrise Auto Group on Sunrise Highway.
The tires and rims of a 2009 Nissan Maxima parked on Walnut Avenue were discovered stolen Jan. 27.
The passenger-side window of a 2002 Mercedes Benz at Gold's Gym on Mercedes Way was broken, and a handbag stolen Jan. 27.
A 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee parked on Wilken Lane was stolen Jan. 28. The vehicle was recovered at another location and returned to the owner.
Damage to a plastic awning cover was discovered Jan. 26 at the La Sagrade Palabra Church on Sixth Avenue.
Police responded to an alarm on East Sycamore Street on Jan. 25 and found a rear basement window broken. There were no signs of entry.
A Jiffy Lube on Medford Avenue was discovered spray-painted with graffiti Jan. 24.
Two men were seen stealing tires and rims from a 2007 Cadillac Escalade parked on Scopelitis Court on Jan. 27.
A 28-year-old woman and two men, ages 22 and 23, were arrested Jan. 27 at Walmart on Route 454. They were charged with stealing a computer and DVDs. All three suspects are Brooklyn residents.
The tail lights of a 2002 Lexus parked in a driveway on Jeremy Circle were reported missing Jan. 25.
Patchogue
A 2006 Chrysler 300 was stolen from the parking lot of California Diner
on Route 27 on Jan. 24.
A sign at the United Methodist Church on Greene Avenue was discovered damaged Jan. 24.
An air-conditioning condenser unit located outside the Showcase Design building on Jericho Turnpike was stolen Jan. 25.
Police were informed Jan. 25 that electronic items had been stolen over a period of time from the Radio Shack store on Route 111.
Money was stolen from a jewelry box at a residence on Hamilton Lane on Jan. 26. A burglar entered the house by breaking the window of a door.
