Baiting Hollow

A Garmin GPS navigation device, CDs and a black briefcase were stolen from a vehicle on Fox Hill Drive Jan. 3.

Approximately $885 worth of items were stolen from a vehicle on Bluffs Drive Jan. 6.

Bellport

A Riverhead woman, 39, was arrested Jan. 5 at an outlet store on Farber Drive and accused of concealing unpaid merchandise in her backpack.

Calverton

Approximately $500 worth of copper piping was stolen from the basement of a residence on Schultz Road Jan. 7.

Coram

A wallet containing a bank card was discovered stolen Jan. 4 from a house on Beach Lane.

East Hampton

A boat docked at East Hampton Point Marina on Three Mile Harbor Road was discovered burglarized Jan. 9. Items stolen included a jewelry, a birth certificate, a passport and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Glass windows on a Main Street building were broken Jan. 6.

The fire department extinguished flames in a garbage bin on Race Lane Jan. 9. A piece of burning wood was the cause of the fire, police said.

Jamesport

A New York State license plate was lost or stolen on Main Road Jan. 8.

Mastic Beach

On Jan. 4, a Shirley man, 32, was arrested at Elder Drive and Neighborhood Road and charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property. The suspect is accused of denting a police vehicle.

Middle Island

The tires on a 2007 Hyundai Elantra on Lake Pointe Court were discovered slashed Jan. 3.

Undisclosed items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence on Ashford Drive Jan. 3.

North Bellport

Cash and a laptop were discovered stolen Jan. 5 from an Eastern Suffolk BOCES classroom on Martha Avenue.

Ridge

On Jan. 3, a Honda dirt bike was discovered stolen from a detached garage at a residence on Old Orchard Lane.

Riverhead

Two unknown men were seen stealing clothing from Polo Ralph Lauren on West Main Street Jan. 9. The value of the 18 missing shirts was more than $800.

A cell phone, worth $40, was stolen from a vehicle on Hubbard Avenue Jan. 8.

An unknown man stole 20 to 30 shirts, valued at $80 each, from Lacoste on West Main Street Jan. 8.

A woman on East Main Street reported 25 Vicodin pills were stolen Jan. 6.

Sixty-one sweaters, valued at about $2,500, were stolen Jan. 4 from Guess Factory Store on West Main Street.

Shoreham

On Jan. 3, a woman entered Shoreham Wines and Spirits on Route 25 and left the store without paying for several bottles of liquor.

Wading River

A Garmin GPS navigation device, a portable XM satellite radio and a phone charger were stolen from a vehicle parked at Phil's Restaurant and Sports Lounge on Wading River Manor Road Jan. 9.

An 18-foot yellow flag with the words "Health Club" printed on it was stolen from a Route 25A location Jan. 8. It was valued at $350.

A wallet containing $1,300 was stolen from a Remsen Road residence Jan. 6.

The windshield of a Caterpillar heavy-equipment machine was damaged Jan. 4.

Jewelry valued at $7,850 was stolen from a Remsen Road residence Jan. 4.

Yaphank

A 2000 Ford pickup truck parked in a lot on Bartlett Common was discovered broken into Jan. 6. Credit cards and a GPS unit were reported stolen from the vehicle.

Bayport

The rear window of vehicle parked on Terrace Road was smashed Jan. 3.

East Islip

The front door lock of the Field 5 Collectibles store on West Main Street was discovered broken Jan. 6. A cash register containing money had been removed from the store.

Lake Grove

Four tires on a 1993 Geo parked in Smithaven Mall lot were discovered punctured Jan. 6.

Oakdale

A mailbox at a residence on Middlesex Avenue was broken off its post Jan. 4. It was later recovered on a neighbor's doorstep.

Patchogue

A 2003 Dodge van was discovered stolen Jan. 6 from the parking lot of Haverty Auto and Plate Glass on Route 112.

Selden

The rear window of a car parked in the Suffolk County Community College campus parking lot on College Road was smashed Jan. 7. Clothing was removed from the vehicle.
