Patio furniture and other items at a residence on Hollow Court were stolen Feb. 25. The loss was valued at $10,000.
Copper piping was stolen from a Hulse Landing Road location Feb. 21.
A 2006 Mitsubishi truck in a parking lot on Route 112 was marked with graffiti Feb. 22.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Woods Lane and Toilsome Lane Feb. 21. He was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after having a minor motor vehicle accident.
A small engine fire ignited in a 1998 Volvo sedan at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Stephen Hands Path Feb. 27. The fire department doused the flames and the vehicle was towed away.
The Long Island Power Authority was notified that smoke was coming from the wires of a tilted utility pole on Newtown Lane Feb. 24.
The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked on Toilsome Lane Feb. 22.
A flowerpot valued at $100 was knocked over and damaged on Main Street Feb. 22.
The door panel and a windshield of two vehicles parked on High Meadow Lane were damaged Feb. 25.
A window of a 2010 Acura was smashed while parked in Napper Tandy's lot on Route 25A on Feb. 21. A pocketbook was stolen from the vehicle.
Northville
On Feb. 26, a man on Church Lane was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired and aggravated unlicensed driving after allegedly being involved in a vehicular accident.
A 2000 Chevrolet Tracker on Rockaway Trail was stolen Feb. 21. The keys were left inside the vehicle.
On Feb. 22, a school bus driver reported finding a suspicious-looking device during a routine check of the bus. The county's emergency service unit and arson squad responded to the scene. It was determined the item was a metal rod with plastic end caps and not explosive.
The Suffolk Life Newspaper building on Old Country Road was discovered burglarized and vandalized Feb. 26.
An unknown person in a dark-colored cesspool truck was observed illegally dumping sewage in the cesspool at Pizza Hut on Old Country Road Feb. 26.
An unknown individual drove a snowmobile across the front lawn of a Raynor Avenue residence Feb. 26.
The fire department responded to a fire at Snowflake Ice Cream Shoppe on West Main Street Feb. 24.
Two unknown men robbed a male taxi driver of $48 at Hamilton Avenue and Pulaski Street Feb. 23.
Police responded to a fight outside Club Edge on Route 25A Feb. 21. One person sustained a bloody nose. No arrests were made.
On Feb. 21, a 26-year-old Port Jefferson Station man was arrested on Flanders Road for driving while intoxicated.
A East Quogue youth was arrested on Flanders Road Feb. 21 after police responded to report of a motor vehicle stuck in a snow bank. Upon investigation a female driver, 17, was accused of driving while intoxicated.
A Hampton Bays man, 41, was arrested at Lynne and Bay avenues Feb. 22 on charges that included driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. The suspect allegedly crashed his motor vehicle through a guardrail into the water, leaving the scene on foot. He was apprehended a short time later.
A Southampton man, 29, was arrested Feb. 24 and charged with two counts of burglary. He was accused of stealing jewelry from two Noyac residences in January.
A snow plow damaged the windshield of a vehicle on Wading River-Manor Road Feb. 26.
ELSEWHERE
The window of a 1997 Saturn was discovered smashed Feb. 23, and a GPS unit and a pocketbook were stolen from the vehicle.
A Nissan Sentra was stolen from the Tens Machine Co. parking lot on Grundy Avenue. The owner of the car left the unattended vehicle running.
On Feb. 22, an unlocked 2000 Toyota Avalon was stolen from the 7-Eleven parking lot on Broadway Avenue while the owner was inside the store buying coffee.
Jewelry and a pocketbook were stolen from a Penn Street residence Feb. 21.
Port Jefferson Station
Four tires of a 1999 Mercedes on Broadway were slashed Feb. 22.
A Medford man and a Bellport woman, both 24, were arrested Feb. 21 for allegedly stealing circuit breakers from Home Depot on Independence Plaza.
A side window of a vehicle on Graystone Lane was discovered broken Feb. 24. A black leather brief case, a check book and personal papers were stolen.
