Aquebogue

A TV, two computers and $3,000 were stolen from a Main Road residence May 12.

Calverton

A black 1995 Ford Explorer involved in a police pursuit May 14 on Middle Country Road was later recovered on Fawn Crossing in Wading River without an operator. The vehicle had stolen license plates, and it was impounded.

Four vehicles parked on Karlin Drive and one parked on Jake's Lane were burglarized May 12. Items stolen included binoculars, GPS units and an iPod.

East Hampton

An East Hampton man, 27, was arrested May 9 on Main Street on charges that included aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, third degree and failure to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change. The defendant allegedly had six prior unlicensed operator convictions.

On May 14, an East Hampton woman, 51, struck a tree with her vehicle and then drove into tennis courts on Three Mile Harbor Road. The woman said she accidentally pressed the vehicle's accelerator instead of the brake while making a turn, police said.

Two noise complaints regarding a loud party at a Georgica Road residence were reported May 13.

East Quogue

An East Quogue man, 20, was arrested May 9 and charged with three counts of grand larceny, fourth degree for stealing a pocketbook from a vehicle parked at King Kullen in Hampton Bays. Further investigation revealed he was involved in alleged similar incidents in the area.

Flanders

A Flanders man, 22, was arrested May 14 on Evergreen Road for being in an intoxicated condition.

A 50-year-old woman was arrested May 15 and charged with disorderly conduct after she was observed by police walking the roadway at Evergreen Road and Riverside Avenue in an intoxicated condition and interfering with vehicular traffic.

Hampton Bays

A Hampton Bays man, 22, was arrested May 14 on Montauk Highway and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Jamesport

Hinges on a garage door on Fox Lane were damaged May 15 in an apparent burglary attempt. The damage was valued at $100.

A mailbox was damaged May 9 on Fox Lane.

Manorville

Illegal dumping was reported May 14 at Swan Lake Golf Club on River Road.

North Sea

A West Babylon man, 25, was arrested May 15 for charges of petty larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree. He is charged with stealing prescription medications from a residence where he was hired to clean wood floors.

Riverhead

Money totaling about $150 was stolen May 15 from a man's pants pocket at Greenview Inn on West Main Street.

Eight hundred dollars worth of jewelry was stolen May 15 from an apartment on East Main Street.

A vehicle was stolen from Fanning Boulevard on May 14.

An unknown woman stole $160 worth of hair extensions from Sally Beauty Supply on Old Country Road on May 12.

A ladder and a weed whacker, valued at $300, were stolen May 12 from a shed on Roanoke Court.

The rear door of M G Deli on East Main Street was damaged May 9 in an attempted burglary.

Sag Harbor

A Sag Harbor woman, 69, was arrested May 15 on Burke Street for two violations, including driving a vehicle without a rear-view mirror.

Southampton

A Southampton woman, 53, was arrested May 14 on David Whites Lane and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, unsafely moving in a traffic lane and refusing a prescreening breath device.

Wading River

Copper piping was stolen May 12 from a North Wading River Road location.

On May 10, an man entered Bank of Smithtown on Route 25A and acted in a suspicious manner.

Water Mill

A Manorville man, 23, was arrested May 14 for a false personation charge after he was stopped on Scuttle Hole Road for a traffic infraction and allegedly falsified his date of birth.

Westhampton

A 24-year-old man was arrested May 9 for driving while intoxicated on Montauk Highway after he allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle, went off the roadway and struck a utility pole and a tree. He was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released for minor injuries.
