Centenarian: George Strausman of Great Neck

GEORGE STRAUSMAN was born on March 25, 1924, in New York City. He grew up in Belle Harbor, Queens. He met his wife, Nancy, in 1959 on the tennis court at Lido Beach Club. They married in 1960 and moved to Great Neck, where they raised three children. George and his brother Ed, who is deceased, were partners in a real estate company for more than 50 years and he still works there with his children. George and Nancy have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He loves spending time with family and is throwing himself a birthday bash.
