Baldwin

A Carl Avenue East residence was discovered burglarized July 11. Entry was gained through a window air-conditioning unit on the second floor, and a safe was pried open and cash removed.

Elmont

Scratch-off lottery tickets were stolen from the Sai Card and Convenience store on Dutch Broadway July 14. The lock on the glass front door was broken.

A cell phone and a Bluetooth device were stolen from a vehicle parked on Keller Avenue July 11.

Franklin Square

On July 16, the OK gas station on New Hyde Park Road was robbed of $700 by a man described as between 20 and 26 years old and wielding a knife.

Sunglasses and CDs were among items stolen from a 2010 Hyundai sedan parked on Benris Avenue July 17.

Lawrence

A cedar planter was stolen from the front porch of a Heather Lane residence July 11.

Long Beach

A woman, 47, was arrested July 15 on West Park Avenue and charged with criminal possession of heroin and loitering.

Two Long Beach males, 16 and 19 respectively, were arrested on drug-related charges on West Walnut Street July 16.

Lynbrook

Jewelry and $1,000 worth of euros were stolen from a Lyon Place residence July 11. The rear door was pried open.

Malverne

Candy and soft drinks were stolen from a concession stand at Malverne High School on Ocean Avenue July 16.

New Hyde Park

A 1993 Honda Civic parked on North Fifth Street was discovered stolen July 11.

A 2001 Chrysler Sebring parked on Aster Drive was stolen July 14.

Tires and rims were stolen July 14 from a car parked on Schumacher Drive.

An underground parking garage on Jericho Turnpike was discovered marked with spray paint July 12.

Oceanside

Three windows at South Oceanside Road School on Oceanside Road were damaged by BB gun pellets July 11.

Roosevelt

Quick Stop on Nassau Boulevard was broken into July 17. Cigarettes and money were stolen.

Uniondale

Jewelry and electronics were stolen from a Leonard Avenue residence July 13. Entry was gained through an unlocked basement door.

A 2000 Honda Civic parked on Nassau Road was stolen July 16.

Valley Stream

A Rockaway Avenue delicatessen was broken into July 17. Consumable items were stolen.

A man armed with a handgun robbed a Shell gas station on West Merrick Road of an unknown amount of cash July 17. The suspect was described to be between 28 and 32 years old with a thin build and shoulder-length hair.

A 2004 BMV parked at the Green Acres Mall was stolen July 17.

A Valley Stream man, 32, was arrested July 14 and charged with attempted burglary. He allegedly pushed in a window air-conditioning unit to gain entry to a doctor's office on West Merrick Road.

Two residences on William and Elm streets were burglarized July 14. Entry was gained through windows. Jewelry and a laptop were stolen.

West Hempstead

Five males, one armed with a handgun, robbed a pedestrian of a cell phone on Hempstead Gardens Drive and fled in a dark four-door vehicle July 16.

ELSEWHERE

Bellmore

A total of eight tires and rims were discovered stolen July 12 from two Dodge Challengers parked in a locked parking lot on Howell Street.

A vehicle parked at a 7-Eleven store on Sunrise Highway was broken into July 14. A handbag was stolen.

East Farmingdale

Windshields on five school buses parked at Acme Bus Co. on Eastern Parkway were smashed July 12. Rocks had been thrown at the windowshields.

East Meadow

A 2004 BMW was stolen in front of a house on Cedar Lane on July 11.

Massapequa

An electrical fire in a vacant store on Sunrise Highway caused about $5,000 worth of damage July 14.

Thefts from seven vehicles parked at Kohl's on Sunrise Highway were reported July 15. Windows were broken to gain entry to the vehicles, and items stolen included GPS navigation devices, an iPhone and binoculars.
