A Sterling Road residence was burglarized June 12. A rear air-conditioning unit was removed to gain entry to the home, and more than $20,000 and jewelry were stolen.
A 2008 Honda Accord parked on Stewart Street was discovered stolen June 9.
A 1997 Plymouth sedan parked on Terrace Avenue was stolen June 8.
The front door of a Barnes Street residence was broken June 12, and a laptop was stolen. An unknown man was seen on surveillance video.
Schillings Franklin Hardware on Hempstead Turnpike was discovered burglarized June 12. Glass on a side door was broken to gain entry, and $300 was stolen.
A pocketbook was stolen June 9 from a vehicle parked at Synergy Fitness on Hempstead Turnpike.
A Doris Avenue residence was burglarized June 8, and jewelry was stolen.
A 1998 Ford Windstar parked on Hempstead Turnpike was stolen June 8. A man was seen on a security camera.
A 42-year-old man was arrested June 11 on Ohio Avenue and charged with burglary and grand larceny.
A 1992 Honda Civic parked in the driveway of a Cumberland Avenue residence was discovered stolen June 10.
Marcus Auto Body on Nassau Road was discovered burglarized June 6. A side window was smashed to gain entry, and hand tools and a diagnostic automobile scanner were among the items stolen.
A Goodrich Street residence was discovered vandalized June 7. Entry was gained through an unlocked side window. Doors were damaged, windows were smashed and cabinets were torn from walls of the house.
A Ruxton Street residence was burglarized June 8. Entry was made through an unlocked window, and a laptop, LCD television and money were stolen.
A GPS unit was stolen June 9 from a vehicle parked at Sunrise Multiplex Cinemas on West Sunrise Highway.
A side window at a Forest Road residence was pried open June 8. Items stolen included $2,000, four laptops and a high-definition camera.
A pedestrian was robbed of $20 at East Avenue and State Street on June 7. Three teens allegedly used physical force to steal the victim's money.
A pocketbook was stolen June 10 from a vehicle parked on Chestnut Street.

Passports, money and jewelry were stolen from an apartment on Pettit Place on June 12.
A side mirror on a vehicle parked on Short Lane was discovered broken June 9.
A 2000 Nissan pickup truck was discovered stolen from Jerusalem Road on June 12.
The steel door on a storage shed at the Budget Inn on Carman Mill Road was discovered pried open, and two TVs and paperwork were stolen June 8.
A window on a vehicle parked on Broadway was discovered broken June 9.
A window on a vehicle parked in the Kohl's lot on Sunrise Highway was broken June 9, and an iPod was stolen.
A window on a vehicle parked in a lot near Macy's at the Sunrise Mall was broken June 9, and a leather satchel containing items that included a wallet, textbooks, laptop and a camera was stolen.
Landscaping equipment worth $3,000 was discovered stolen from a shed on Clocks Boulevard on June 10.
A window and mirror on a van parked at Tim's Florist on Park Boulevard were discovered damaged June 6.
On June 8, a Massapequa Park woman, 69, accidentally accelerated her vehicle while parking at the post office on Merrick Road. Her vehicle struck a parked vehicle, shrubbery and the building, causing substantial damage. The woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Thefts from three unlocked vehicles parked on Grand Boulevard and Wilson and Pacific streets were discovered June 11. Items stolen included GPS units and a radio.
Merrick
Cash and jewelry were discovered stolen from a Camp Avenue residence June 9. Entry was gained through an unlocked sliding glass door.
A, 2000-watt generator, an 18,000-watt bulb and a crank-up stand were discovered stolen June 9 from an 18-wheeler tractor trailer parked on Woodpecker Lane.
A chain-link fence at Harold D. Fayette Elementary School on Merrick Avenue was cut June 10.
Two iPods and two credit cards were stolen June 7 from a pocketbook in a vehicle parked on Cypress Street. A surveillance video noted an unknown male suspect who wore a bandanna over his mouth and rode up on a bicycle.
A window was discovered pried open June 12 in the cafeteria at Wantagh High School on Beltagh Avenue, and snacks from a vending machine were stolen.
