Video game systems and a laptop computer were stolen from a Scranton Avenue residence April 7. Entry was gained through an unlocked door.

Elmont

Jewelry and $2,000 were stolen from a Theodora Street residence April 8. Entry was gained by prying open a front door.

A car battery was stolen from a 1995 Honda parked on Benson Avenue April 9.

Jewelry was stolen from a residence on Holland Avenue April 6.

Jewelry was stolen from a Theodora Street residence April 8. Entry was gained by prying open the front door.

A 106th Avenue residence was damaged by gun shots April 8. Four empty shell casings were found nearby.

Franklin Square

Jewelry was stolen from a residence on Palmetto Drive April 9. Entry was gained by prying open a second-story window.

Jewelry, a coin collection and saving bonds were stolen from a residence on Magnolia Drive April 9.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked on Benmore Avenue April 10.

Freeport

A car on Brooklyn Avenue was broken into on April 8, and a GPS was stolen.

Inwood

A garage door at Five Towns Motors on Sheridan Boulevard was broken April 6.

Lakeview

Three bicycles valued at $1,280 were discovered stolen from a unlocked garage on Lincoln Road April 9.

A computer and a TV were stolen from a Hopatgong Avenue residence April 4.

Long Beach

An unknown male suspect stole a purse containing a BlackBerry, cash and other items at a car wash on Long Beach Road April 5.

Lynbrook

Jewelry and a camera were discovered stolen from a residence on Shipherd Avenue April 10.

New Hyde Park

A TV and a PlayStation were stolen from a Baer Place residence April 7.

Wallets, tools, a laptop and other items were stolen from two vehicles parked in a lot on Marcus Avenue April 5.

Two watches and a wallet were stolen from three lockers at a Marcus Avenue location April 6.

North Valley Stream

Papers and documents were stolen from a vehicle parked on Stuart Avenue April 10.

A GPS unit, an iPod and a baby seat were stolen from a vehicle parked on Alden Avenue April 10.

Oceanside

A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked at South Nassau Communities Hospital on Healthy Way April 4.

A rock was thrown at a postal truck on Daly Boulevard on April 5. The vehicle's front windshield was damaged.

The rear steel doors at Hoo King Chinese Restaurant on Long Beach Road were pried open April 4. Cash was stolen from the register.

Rockville Centre

A West Hempstead man, 49, was arrested on Old Mill Court April 7 and charged with grand larceny. He allegedly is seen on surveillance video stealing packs of razors from a CVS Pharmacy in East Rockaway in January.

Westbury

A SMART Board and computers were stolen from a school on Edgewood Drive April 5.

Four locations on Cottonwood, Cane, Cypress and East Cypress lanes were discovered marked with graffiti in red spray paint April 4.

A GPS unit, a radar detector, an iPod and sunglasses were stolen from two vehicles parked on Birchwood Drive on April 4.

A rear window at Park Avenue School was discovered broken April 5.

A 1999 Honda Civic reported stolen in Suffolk County was recovered on Franklin Street on April 6. The vehicle had been stripped.

West Hempstead

A car radio was stolen from a vehicle parked on Garden Place on April 8.

A laptop computer was discovered stolen April 6 from a law office on Ardsley Boulevard. The interior of the building was vandalized. Entry was gained by prying open the front door open.

Woodmere

The glass on a rear door at Bagelo Cafe on Broadway was smashed April 5.

ELSEWHERE

East Garden City

Four tires on a vehicle parked in the Nassau Community College parking lot were punctured April 5.

Plainview

Two 40-pound propane tanks were discovered stolen April 7 from Diversified Industrial Products on Skyline Drive.
