The basement window of a Meacham Avenue home was discovered pried open April 29, and tools were stolen.
Two police officers were injured April 29 by a 17-year-old Elmont male who was resisting arrest at Landau and Adams avenues. The suspect is charged with grand larceny from April 15.
A wallet containing $500 was discovered stolen from Vans Nursery on Linden Boulevard on April 28. Entry was gained through a pried-open rear steel door.
A white 1989 Toyota Camry reported stolen in Hempstead was recovered April 30 on North Main Street.
Hewlett Neck
Jewelry was stolen from a residence on Browers Point Branch on April 27. Entry was gained through an unlocked door on the second floor.
A Uniondale man, 40, was arrested at police headquarters April 30 on assault and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
Two men, one armed with a handgun, are charged with robbing a Sunoco gas station on Scranton Avenue on April 26. The suspects stole $201 and fled on foot.
A diamond ring was stolen from a residence on Forest Avenue on April 27. Entry was gained through a unlocked front door.
A 1998 Honda Civic was discovered stolen from Powell Street on April 29.
Uniondale
A Summer Avenue residence was burglarized April 25, and two laptop computers were stolen. Entry was gained through an unlocked rear window.
A 1999 Honda Civic was discovered stolen May 1 from Sale Road.
Hubcaps were stolen April 25 from a 2010 Toyota Corolla on Ella Street.
Elmont Convenience on Elmont Road was burglarized April 29. A hole was cut in the roof to gain entry, and $8,300 and 22 cartons of cigarettes were stolen.
A GPS unit was stolen April 28 from a vehicle parked in the Sears lot at the Green Acres Mall.
An East Choir Lane residence was discovered burglarized April 26. Jewelry and coins were stolen.
A catalytic converter was stolen April 23 from a 2000 Toyota 4Runner parked in a Long Island Rail Road lot on Hempstead Avenue.

An Elm Drive residence was burglarized April 28. Entry was made by smashing a rear window with a brick.
A 1998 Acura was stolen from Chestnut Avenue on April 29.
A 1994 Honda Civic was stolen from a driveway on Second Street on April 29.
Jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen April 29 from a residence on Park Lane. Entry was made through a rear window.
Jewelry and a camera were stolen from a residence on First Street on April 30. Entry was made through a basement window.
A vehicle was discovered stolen April 26 from Duffy Avenue.

A battery was discovered stolen from a 2010 Toyota Corolla on Jones Avenue on April 28.
Jewelry and cash were stolen from a Salem Court residence April 29.
Fifteen bras were stolen April 29 from Victoria's Secret on South Oyster Bay Road.
Wantagh
On April 29, a 10-year-old boy was approached by an unknown man in a black pickup truck at Beech Street and Island Road who yelled for the child to get into the vehicle. The boy ran home, and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
