The driver-side window was broken on a 2008 Hyundai parked at the Long Island Rail Road station July 7.

East Farmingdale

A diamond watch and cash were stolen from a locker at LA Fitness on Route 110 July 7.

Two cookware sets were stolen from Bed Bath & Beyond at Airport Plaza on July 8.

Massapequa

On July 4, a woman tried on a diamond ring at Macy's in the Sunrise Mall and allegedly proceeded to exit the store wearing the ring. When security attempted to stop her, she threatened the officer and fled with the ring.

About $500 and a laptop computer were stolen from a Franklin Avenue residence July 9.

Two Chevy vans parked at an Elizabeth Street residence were vandalized July 8. Headlights, windshield, side panels and rear windows on the vans were broken.

A woman, reported to be in her 40s, driving a silver sport utility vehicle, approached two boys, 9 and 10, at North Oak Street and North Bay Avenue on July 8. A male passenger asked the boys if they wanted candy. The children fled and the vehicle left the scene.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a 2001 Toyota Sequoia parked at the Long Island Rail Road station July 8.

On July 10, a man ran up to a woman's 1998 Ford Explorer and broke off the side mirror while the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign on Sunrise Highway.

Massapequa Park

A Diamondback bicycle was stolen from a garage at a Wilson Street residence July 8.

An employee's purse was stolen at Friendly's on Sunrise Highway on July 10.

Merrick

Cigarettes and lottery tickets were stolen July 10 from a store on Merrick Avenue.

North Massapequa

PVC fences were damaged at three residences on Orange Street and Jerusalem and Chester avenues July 9.

Wantagh

A 2005 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from Flower Lane on July 4.

Cigarettes were stolen from CVS Pharmacy on Merrick Road on July 10. Entry was gained through the back door.

Two sprinkler heads at Burger King on Wantagh Avenue were damaged

July 6.

A woman's wallet was stolen from a beach bag while the victim went swimming during a company picnic at Wantagh Park on July 9.

ELSEWHERE

Baldwin

A 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle parked at West Centennial Avenue and Circle Drive East was stolen July 7.

Copiague

Police responded to a call regarding an attack of one individual by another July 7 at a deli on Sunrise Highway.

Franklin Square

Vehicles and residential doors at eight locations on Lincoln Road, Goldenrod Avenue, and Garfield, Roosevelt and Monroe streets were spray-painted with graffiti July 5.

Hewlett

Four tires and rims were stolen from a 2008 Infiniti parked on Daub Avenue on July 7.

Inwood

Two people were stabbed July 5 following a verbal confrontation at Doughty and Sheridan boulevards. Four to five suspects allegedly threw a beer bottle from their vehicle at the victims and then exited their vehicle and stabbed one victim in the back and the other victim on the forearm, police said.

Malverne

A GPS unit was discovered stolen July 8 from a 1995 Toyota Avalon parked on Sydney Avenue.

Manorhaven

A rear window of a 2008 Honda CRV parked at a Long Island Rail Road lot on Sunrise Highway was smashed July 4, A handbag was stolen from the vehicle.

North Valley Stream

Four tires and rims were stolen from a 2008 Infiniti parked on Wyngate Drive East on July 8.

Oceanside

The front window of a 2007 Toyota parked at South Shore Fitness on Austin Boulevard was shattered July 10, and a backpack containing cash, jewelry, an iPod and other items were stolen.

A man was observed breaking the window of a 2003 Dodge parked at South Nassau Communities Hospital on Healthy Way, reaching into the vehicle and stealing unknown proceeds July 10.

Two iPod Touch devices were stolen from the pool area of Newbridge Road Park on Mahlon Brower Drive on July 8.

Plandome Manor

Letters from a sign on the roof of The Bay House on Lido Boulevard were removed July 5.

Roosevelt

Building supplies were stolen from a location on East Clinton Avenue July 7.

A cell phone was stolen from a Hausch Boulevard residence July 7.

Uniondale

A computer and two cameras were discovered stolen from a residence on Uniondale Avenue July 10.

A 1999 Ford was stolen from a parking lot on Uniondale Avenue on July 6.

A flat-screen TV, a Wii and a PlayStation video game system, a laptop computer and a camcorder were discovered stolen July 9 from a residence on California Avenue.
