A Beldell Street residence was burglarized May 28. Jewelry was stolen.
East Farmingdale
Someone entered the yard of H.T. Steel Erectors on Smith Street on May 23 and stole 72 feet of steel pipes and 36 feet of I-beams.
A Greenlawn man, 45, was arrested May 26 and charged with petty larceny for stealing property from The Home Depot on Route 110.
Jewelry and money was stolen from a residence on Gerald Avenue on May 28. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.
A vehicle parked at Jet Transport on Midland Avenue was discovered spray-painted May 23.
A window on a Gardner Avenue house was damaged May 24.
A CD player was discovered stolen May 24 from a vehicle parked on Hawthorne Street.
A catalytic converter was stolen May 26 from a 2002 Toyota parked in a Long Island Rail Road lot at Broadway and Sunrise Highway.
Cigarettes and scratch-off lottery tickets were stolen from a stationery store on Park Boulevard on May 27. A witness observed a man, about 20 years old, running near the location.
On May 29, two men allegedly jumped up and down on a vehicle parked on Thomas Street, causing damage to the vehicle's hood and windshield. One of the men was apprehended a short distance from the scene, and the other was
arrested at his home.
A man was arrested for causing damage to two vehicles on May 29. He is accused of walking with three acquaintances on Washington Street and throwing a large metal garbage can at two parked vehicles.
The side window of a home on Colonial Avenue was pried open May 25; jewelry and watches were stolen.
Two vehicles were vandalized while parked in front of a Whaleneck Drive residence May 23.
Steel railings were stolen May 28 from the rear yard of a Elliott Street residence under renovation.
A 2010 Jeep parked on North Hickory Street was discovered smashed with a copper pipe May 29.
A window on an automobile parked at Fabric Mill on South Service Road was damaged May 25.
Items including a credit card and CDs were discovered stolen May 24 from a vehicle parked at North Shore University Hospital on Old Country Road.
A pocketbook was stolen from a shopping cart at a ShopRite supermarket May 24.
On May 29, a 1999 Lexus being towed on a flatbed became dislodged near the Lighthouse Diner on Sunrise Highway. The vehicle and the diner's steps and railing were damaged. No injuries were reported.
A computer and printer were discovered stolen May 24 from New Faces Development Center on Woodbury Road.
ELSEWHERE
A business on Merrick Road was burglarized May 25. Entry was made through the front door. Nothing was reported missing.
A 1996 Land Rover was stolen from the Cold Spring Harbor train station parking lot on Woodbury Road on
May 26.
A 2004 BMW sedan parked on Norfolk Drive West was stolen May 23.
A 2000 Plymouth Voyager parked on Dutch Broadway was stolen May 23.
A pocketbook was stolen from a vehicle parked on Norfolk Drive West on May 23.
A pedestrian on Greenway Boulevard was robbed of a cell phone May 25 by two men, between 18 and 20 years old, armed with a box cutter.
The theft of a small piece of Caterpillar heavy equipment was
discovered May 27 from a construction site on Deer Park Avenue.
Jewelry, a laptop computer and cash were stolen from a house on Randolph Drive on May 27.
Jewelry and coins were stolen from a Parkside Drive location May 24.
A GPS unit was stolen May 23 from a vehicle parked on North Broadway.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on Grand Avenue on May 27 and charged with three counts of robbery.
A 1992 Saturn was stolen from Greengrove Avenue on May 28.
Woodbury
GPS units were stolen May 25 from two vehicles parked at Crest Hollow Country Club on Jericho Turnpike.
