A Bellmore man, 27, was arrested on Hicks Street Jan. 11 after a traffic stop. He was allegedly in possession of 20 small envelopes containing heroin and methadone, and a hypodermic needle.
Three vehicles on Superior Road were discovered burglarized Jan. 13. Items stolen included a GPS and $10 in coins.
A woman, 27, was arrested Jan. 13 on Len Drive and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana.
A Freeport man, 42, was arrested Jan. 13 at the corner of Sunrise Highway and Centre Avenue. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
A burglary was reported Jan. 10 at the Twins Barber Shop on Broadhollow Road. A brick was used to break the front glass window of the shop to gain entry. Cash taped to the wall and mirrors was stolen. A 52-year-old man with no known address was later arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.
A residence on Rosalie Court was burglarized Jan. 14. Entry was made through an unlocked rear window. An antique coin collection and jewelry were stolen.
A Wyandanch youth, 16, was arrested Jan. 14 and charged with attempted burglary of a Libby Avenue residence. A female resident screamed when she allegedly heard the teen try to enter the home through a window. A neighbor and witness detained the suspect until police arrived. An investigation into the possible arrest of a second youth is pending.
A 15-year-old male was forcibly robbed of $20 on the second floor of the Sunrise Mall Jan. 15. The suspects, an 18-year-old Copiague man and another 15-year-old, were arrested and charged with second-degree robbery.
A 17-year-old male from South Farmingdale was arrested Jan. 12 on South Park Drive for drug-related charges.
A vehicle parked on New York Avenue was discovered broken into Jan. 16, and a laptop was stolen.
A Roosevelt man, 23, was arrested Jan. 13 at Sears in the Sunrise Mall. He was charged with petty larceny and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Three GPS navigation devices were discovered stolen from unlocked vehicles on Westwood Road South and Westwood Road North Jan. 15.
The rear door of a Kenneth Road residence was discovered pried open Jan. 12, and three laptops and jewelry were stolen.
A Bethpage man, 22, was arrested Jan. 16 on suspicion that he was breaking into vehicles on North Suffolk Avenue. Police found the suspect inside a 1997 Nissan Sentra when they responded to a 911 call regarding suspicious activity in the area. The man admitted to breaking into the vehicles for money, police said.
A Long Beach man, 27, was arrested Jan. 14 after he was stopped for reckless driving on Route 135. A knife and marijuana were allegedly found in his vehicle.
A Baldwin man, 26, was arrested Jan. 16 on Mandalay Beach Road on charges that included criminal impersonation and a warrant for urination in public.
A house on Mist Lane was burglarized Jan. 16. An Ipod, Xbox games, coins and $55 were stolen.
A woman was assaulted and robbed on Post Avenue Jan. 12. She was kicked and punched and a diamond earring was stolen from her shirt pocket.
A 2009 Nissan Altima was stolen from Corporate Drive Jan. 14.
A female victim was robbed at gunpoint on Irving Street Jan. 16. An unknown male suspect displayed a gun, demanded her pocketbook and then jumped into the back of an automobile nearby and was driven away.
Two New Jersey women were arrested at a Holiday Inn on Old Country Road on prostitution charges Jan. 15.

Baldwin
A residence on Lancaster Avenue was burglarized Jan. 12. Entry was gained by kicking in the rear door. Money and jewelry were stolen.
Copiague
A Wii game system and a laptop computer were stolen from a house on Malta Street Jan. 13.
Freeport
An Amityville male, 17, was arrested on Sunrise Highway Jan. 14 on charges that included reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child.
Hempstead
A Roosevelt male, 17, was arrested Jan. 13 at First District Court and charged with possession of stolen property
Roosevelt
A 1998 Honda Civic was stolen from Pennywood Avenue Jan. 14.
A 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen from Elysian Terrace Jan. 16.
A robbery occurred Jan. 10 on Lenox Ave. Two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, allegedly grabbed a woman's pocketbook from her arm.
