The driver-side window of a 2004 Dodge on Crooked Hill Road was broken Feb. 15. Nothing was reported missing.
A Shirley man, 41, was arrested Feb. 18 at the LIE North Service Road at Crooked Hill Road. He was charged with petty larceny for stealing a camera and DVDs from a Costco store.

A burglary was discovered Feb. 19 at a residence on Arbor Lane. Entry was gained through a rear window. Cash and jewelry were reported stolen.
An unlocked vehicle on Micole Court was discovered ransacked Feb. 18. Cash and assorted papers were reported stolen.
A woman told police that her wallet was stolen from a stroller at McDonald's restaurant in Walt Whitman Mall on Feb. 15.
Tools were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Boxwood Drive on Feb. 15.
Tools and three Sadelco meters
were stolen from a vehicle in the Tri-Wire Engine parking lot on Union Avenue
on Feb. 18.
The front glass door at Hilary's Class Act Hair salon on Portion Road was discovered shattered Feb. 20. Cash was reported stolen from the register.
A Massapequa man, 43, was arrested Feb. 18 at a store on Broad Hollow Road and charged with petty larceny for stealing computer programs and four DVDs.
A bread rack, a snowblower and 12 propane tanks were stolen from a yard on Route 347 on Feb. 20.
Assorted tree climbing gear, six chain saws and eight ropes belonging to Aspen Tree Service were stolen at a location on Southern Boulevard on Feb. 17.
A burglary occurred at Nocellos Restaurant on Fort Salonga Road on Feb. 15. Money was reported stolen.
Smithtown
Air conditioning units were stolen from the roof of an unoccupied building on Route 347 on Feb. 15.
The rear driver-side window of a vehicle on Lake Avenue was discovered broken Feb. 18, and a pocketbook removed from the rear seat. The pocketbook was later recovered on the front lawn of the residence. The bag did not contain valuables and nothing was reported stolen.
