Commack

An HP Laserjet printer was stolen from the Staples store on Jericho Turnpike on Feb. 23. One person held the door open while another ran out carrying the printer.

The driver-side window of a 2003 Mercury on Jericho Turnpike was broken Feb. 21. A GPS unit and a Sirius radio were stolen.

An unknown person entered the employee break room at a business on East Jericho Turnpike on Feb. 25, cut the lining of another person's jacket and stole house keys and keys to a vehicle from the jacket.

Dix Hills

Assorted pieces of jewelry were discovered stolen Feb. 21 from a residence on Half Hollow Road.

Garage door openers were discovered stolen Feb. 25 from two different vehicles. Both vehicles, a 2009 Nissan and a 2006 BMW, were parked at a house on Truxton Road.

East Northport

The window of a 2001 Nissan Pathfider parked at Golds Gym on Larkfield Road was broken Feb. 23. A canvas bag containing miscellaneous papers was removed from the vehicle.

A Coach pocketbook containing money and gift cards was stolen from a vehicle parked at Retro Fitness gym on Jericho Turnpike on Feb. 23.

A homeowner on Christina Court discovered the house mailbox damaged Feb. 21 by an apparent explosion.

Hauppauge

Printing Plates were stolen from Star Quality Printing on Engineers Road Feb. 23.

Boxes of Verizon cellular phones were stolen from a business on Rabro Drive on Feb. 23. The side door was pried open, and the wall-mounted alarm system was disabled.

A burglar entered a residence on Adrianne Lane on Feb. 24 and removed iPods, a MacBook Pro laptop, a Wii game console, controller and games and

assorted jewelry.

Huntington Station

Property, including a cut-off saw, was stolen from a trailer in a construction yard on East Jericho Turnpike on Feb. 24.

Kings Park

A resident on Laurel Road told police someone cut down a tree on his property without permission Feb. 21.

Three tires and rims were discovered misssing Feb. 25 from a 2007 BMW parked in a residential driveway on Wildflower Drive.

Smithtown

The front passenger-side window of a vehicle on Graystone Lane was discovered broken Feb. 24. A black leather brief case, a checkbook and miscellaneous personal papers were reported stolen.

St. James

Police were informed of a criminal-mischief incident involving property damage at a location on Jericho Turnpike on Feb. 25.
