Commack
A Huntington Station woman, 30, was arrested at the Kohl's store on Crooked Hill Road on April 11 and charged with petty larceny for stealing items of clothing.
Dix Hills
Jewelry was reported stolen April 11 from the glove compartment of a 2003 Mercedes parked in a driveway on Nason Place.
East Northport
An East Northport man, 39, was arrested April 11 on Zoranne Drive and charged with criminal mischief, third degree. He is charged with throwing a rock through the window of Stuff-a-Bagel on Larkfield Road.
Hauppauge
The passenger-side window of a 2006 GMC on Walter Avenue was discovered smashed April 11. A pair of pajamas, a book and sunglasses were reported stolen from the vehicle.
A laptop was reported stolen April 12 from a room at the Hauppauge District Office on Veterans Memorial Highway.
Huntington Station
A burglary was reported April 12 at a residence on East Rogues Path. Jewelry and coins were reported stolen. Entry to the house was gained by forcing open a rear window.
A Huntington Station man, 23, was arrested April 11 on New York Avenue and charged with criminal mischief, fourth degree. He is charged with smashing the front glass window of the El Picacho Catracho Grill on New York Avenue.
Melville
Two trumpets and their cases were stolen from a Jeep Wrangler parked in the lot at Arboretum Park on Threepence Drive on April 12.
Landscaping equipment was discovered stolen April 11 from a storage container belonging to Landscaping with JP Skyes on Old East Neck Road.
ELSEWHERE
Brentwood
A burglary was reported April 13 at a residence on Riddle Street. Entry was gained through an unlocked second-floor window. Assorted items, including televisions, were reported stolen.
Ronkonkoma
A resident of the Lake Shore Adult Home on Lake Shore Road reported April 12 that jewelry was missing from the resident's room.
