At its Jan. 12 meeting, the town board:

Authorized execution of agreement to spend town highway funds for 2010.

Authorized the supervisor to execute agreements on behalf of the youth bureau for 2010.

Authorized the supervisor to execute agreements on behalf of the Department of Human Services for 2010.

Authorized the supervisor to execute an agreement with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County to establish seasonal environmental educational programs for the utilization of the house at the Fuch's Pond Preserve, located at 21 Norwood Rd., Northport.

Authorized the supervisor to execute an intermunicipal agreement with the Village of Northport on behalf of the Centerport Sewer District for a portion of the capital improvements to the Northport Sewage Treatment Plant.

Authorized the supervisor to execute an extension to the contract with K-Clement Landscape Co., Inc., for landscape maintenance for the Department of General Services.

Authorized the supervisor to execute an extension to the contract with Superior Overhead Doors, Inc., for the service and repair of overhead and roll-up doors at various town facilities.

Authorized the supervisor to execute an agreement with

Mackenzie Automatic Doors, Inc., for maintenance and repair of automatic doors.

Authorized the supervisor to execute an extension to the contract with Residential Fences Corp. for the 2009-requirements contract for chain-link fence.

Authorized the supervisor to execute a contract with Thermo Tech Combustion, Inc., for heating, ventilating and air conditioning service, maintenance and installation.
