ACTIONS
At its Jan. 12 meeting, the town board:
Authorized the supervisor to execute a contract with General Security Inc., for townwide alarm system repair, installation, service and central station monitoring.
Authorized the supervisor to execute bond releases of the Platte River Insurance Co. for bonds issued on behalf of V. Garofalo Carting Inc., for collection, transportation and disposal of residential solid waste, yard waste and recyclables in the Town of Huntington Refuse District for the 2005-09 Residential Carting Contract re: contract bid areas 2, 11, 12 and 16.
Authorized the supervisor to execute an agreement for the provision of consulting services
for town and board of trustees
property and contract/franchise matters.
Authorized the supervisor to execute a license agreement with the Sagamore Rowing Association.
Authorized the supervisor to execute an agreement for presentation of an African-American Heritage Exhibit, re: agreement with the Long Island Rail Road/Metropolitan Transportation Authority for an exhibition in display space on the east wall of the waiting room in Huntington Station.
Authorized the supervisor to execute agreements for meeting places for senior citizens in the Town of Huntington.
Authorized the supervisor to apply for and receive funding from Suffolk County for the Residential Repair Program for the Elderly of Huntington, nunc pro tunc.
Authorized the supervisor to execute an agreement between the Town of Huntington and the Huntington Human Services Institute Inc., to implementing the 2010 Black History and Hispanic Heritage Programs.
Authorized the supervisor to execute an Agreement with the Town of Huntington Economic Development Corp.
