Dix Hills: Vincenza and Emil Pagano request to exceed allowable habitable space to convert second story to an accessory apartment greater than maximum 650 square feet, and to legalize second-story deck, deck attached to rear and detached shed with portico, on the north side of Lamplight Lane South, west of Westminister Avenue.
Huntington: John Briscoe, AIA, requests long-street side-yard variance to legalize a front portico, wood decking; replace expired building permit PO4257 (2004) for second-floor addition, and to legalize rear gazebo with hot tub, on the northeast corner of Melville Road and Murdock Street.
Huntington Station: Andrea Miller, LH Capital Corp., requests rear- and side-yard variances for rear addition to legalize permit 981372 (1998) two-story single-
family dwelling with finished cellar, air conditioning units and enclosed rear cellar entrance, and to erect detached, one-car garage with interior walls for storage,
on the south side of East Second Street, west of Fairground

Melville: 515 Restaurant, LLC, requests special-use permit and parking relief for outdoor dining, and to legalize overhead canopy on the southeast corner of Broadhollow and Baylis roads.
ACTIONS
At its Dec. 10 meeting, the town board:
Authorized the supervisor to execute an extension to the contract with Israeloff, Trattner & Co. P.C., to perform auditing and accounting services for the Town
of Huntington, and to execute
an extension to the contract with Fuoco Group, LLP to perform auditing and accounting services for the Huntington Human
Services Institute, Cultural Affairs Institute and Youth Bureau Institute, and appoint each as official town auditors to perform accounting and auditing services for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31.
