ACTIONS
At its Aug. 3 meeting, the town board:
Authorized the supervisor to execute agreements with the Suffolk County Youth Bureau for the provision of various youth services through the Youth Bureau's Comprehensive Youth Service Plan for 2010.
Authorized the supervisor to enter into a contract with the Suffolk County sheriff's office to receive funding to participate in Operation Shield.
Authorized the supervisor to execute an agreement with Labor Educational and Community Services Agency, Inc. for an
employee assistance program.
Authorized the supervisor to execute a professional services agreement with L.K. McLean Associates, P.C. for professional engineering and surveying services for the preparation of construction plans and specifications for the restoration of the town's landfill on Town Line Road, damaged by a brush fire, nunc pro tunc.
Authorized the supervisor to execute an extension to the contract with Welsbach Electric Corp. of Long Island for traffic signal maintenance.
Authorized the supervisor to execute a license agreement with the Northport Youth Football and Cheerleading Club for the use of Crab Meadow Beach for a fund-
raiser kickoff barbecue on Aug. 20.
Authorized the supervisor to execute a renewal of the cooperation agreement between the Town of Huntington and the Villages of Lloyd Harbor, Huntington Bay, Northport and Asharoken to undertake or assist in undertaking essential community development and housing assistance activities.
