ACTIONS
At its June 15 meeting, the town board:
Authorized the comptroller to amend the 2010 operating budget for the Town of Huntington and its special districts, various departments.
Accepted the dedication of a widening of Larkfield Road and a drainage easement for the site plan known as East Northport Plaza.
Accepted a donation from H2M Group for the promotion, marketing and operating expenses associated with the 2010 job fair on June 10, nunc pro tunc.
Accepted a donation from the Pernice Family of three dogwood trees to be planted in Kennilworth Park, East Northport.
Adopted the marina contract for winter wet storage at Town Marinas.
Corrected a scriveners error in Town Board resolution 2010-262 in the matter of certain lawsuits related to methyl tertiary butyl ether,
MTBE.
Established the standard work days for elected officials and appointed personnel for New York State and local retirement system reporting purposes.
Granted permission to the Huntington Station business improvement district to use municipal lot 24 for its summer classic car series.
Amended the uniform traffic code of the Town of Huntington, chapter 3, Article II, 3-3, Section J Re: Wolf Hill Road, no stopping restriction.
Amended the uniform traffic code of the Town of Huntington, Chapter 3, Article II, 3-3, Schedule J Re: Tilden Lane, no parking restriction.
Adopted local law introductory No. 8-2010, considering zone change application 2009-ZM-379, East Northport Venture, LLC II, to change the zone from I-4 light industry district to C-6 general business district for property located on the north side of Jericho Turnpike, East of Verleye Avenue, Elwood.
