Nassau County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking a woman in connection with an incident of identity theft that recently occurred in Manhasset.

At 7:45 p.m. on May 3, police say the suspect attempted to purchase merchandise illegally from the Macy's department store at 1100 Northern Blvd. The subject issued a false Georgia identification card and Social Security cards to commit the crime.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or has information about the crime is asked to call 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.

Suffolk County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking help in identifying and locating a man who they say recently committed an armed robbery in West Babylon.

At 10:30 a.m. on May 26, an unknown man entered the Verizon Wireless store Cellular City at 673 Route 109. The man, described by police as being in his mid-20s, roughly 5-foot-7, and with "very bad teeth," approached a clerk and displayed a handgun before fleeing with more than $900 in cash and merchandise.
