At its June 1 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Bay Shore: Granted Shakuntala Sukhram permission to build a second-story addition with insufficient side yards and floor area, south side of Clarissa Drive, east of Pine Acres Boulevard.

Bohemia: Granted Jennifer L. Mayer and John R. Singer as trustees of the Robert F. and Audrey A. Singer Family Trust permission, for three years, to establish an accessory apartment, west of Roosevelt Avenue, south of Eighth Street.

East Islip: Granted Paul and Saleema Gervasi permission to retain an above-ground pool, pool deck and shed with insufficient rear yard and required setback, south side of East Madison Avenue, west of Bennett Avenue.

At its June 15 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Brentwood: Granted Denniol Rosario as Trustee of the Maria C. Montero Irrevocable Trust permission to retain a shed with insufficient side yard, south side of Montgomery Street, west of Marshall Avenue.

Central Islip: Granted Camilo Canesa permission to retain a shed on side yard property line with insufficient setback, north side of Hemlock Street, east of Prospect Avenue.
