Tools were discovered stolen from a car parked in a Bayport Avenue driveway July 11. The items taken included cable drills, a cordless drill, drill bits, hand tools, an acetylene torch set and saws.

Bohemia

Noisy Toys on Suffolk Avenue reported a theft of service incident July 12.

Four blue rolling recycling bins filled with shredded paper were discovered stolen July 11 from Data Device Corp. on Wilbur Place.

Central Islip

Copper piping was stolen from an unoccupied Pinewood Avenue house July 13.

Vitamins were stolen from CVS Pharmacy on Wheeler Road July 11.

East Islip

Entry was gained to an Overlook Drive house by kicking open a rear door July 12. No property was apparently taken.

Holbrook

A 2005 Ford Taurus was stolen from a Greenbelt Parkway residence July 12. The vehicle was later recovered on Loop Drive in Sayville.

Islip

On July 15, a suspect stole items from Pathmark on Islip Avenue and fled.

Graffiti was found on the outside of East Islip Animal Hospital on Main Street July 14.

Ronkonkoma

A theft was reported July 11 at the Cores Galore automotive parts supply store on Christopher Street. A lock on a storage area was broken and four full propane tanks stolen.

ELSEWHERE

Manorville

Jewelry was discovered stolen July 16 from a Weeks Avenue home. Entry was gained through an unlocked sliding glass door.

Mastic

Two men entered Domino's Pizza on Montauk Highway July 15 through an unlocked rear door and demanded cash. They fled after it was handed over.

Selden

Copper piping was discovered stolen July 17 from a South Evergreen Drive house under construction.
