The window of a 2005 Jeep Liberty parked on Third Avenue was discovered broken Feb. 17. A wallet containing credit cards was reported stolen from the vehicle.
A Ronkonkoma woman, 27, was arrested Feb. 14 at a store on Route 27 and charged with petty larceny for stealing jewelry, clothing and household items.
Twenty feet of metal gate was stolen from a location on Blake Avenue on Feb. 20.
A laptop, computer games and cash were stolen from a location on Eisenhower Avenue on Feb. 18. A shovel was used to break into the front door.
A snowblower was discovered stolen Feb. 17 from a backyard on First Street.
A resident on Summerfield Circle told police that an individual came to the house Feb. 15 in response to an ad the resident placed on Craigslist.org regarding a piece of jewelry for sale. The "buyer" took the piece of jewelry and fled without paying.
A 2006 Hyundai Tuscon on South Road was stolen Feb. 20.
Tires were discovered missing Feb. 16 from a vehicle on Jackson Street.
A woman told police that she left her pocketbook unattended at a table in the Grand Buffet Chinese restaurant on Veteran's Memorial Highway Feb. 14. When she returned to the table her pocketbook was open and credit cards had been removed.
Islip
Copper piping was stolen from a vacant house on Feb. 19. An oven and sheet rock also were reported damaged.
A Commack man, 42, was arrested Feb. 14 at the Pathmark supermarket on Islip Avenue and charged with petty larceny for stealing merchandise.
Tools and 3 Sadelco meters were stolen from a vehicle in the Tri-Wire Engine parking lot on Union Avenue on Feb. 18.
The front glass door at Hilary's Class Act Hair salon on Portion Road was discovered shattered Feb. 20. Cash was reported stolen from the register.
A pocketbook was stolen from a cart at store on Montauk Highway on Feb. 15.
Ronkonkoma
A potted plant and plant stand at a residence on Pond Road were damaged Feb. 19.
Items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Cherokee Street on Feb. 14.
