The rear window of vehicle parked on Terrace Road was smashed Jan. 3.

Blue Point

A Blue Point man, 19, and a Patchogue man, 20, were arrested on Atlantic Avenue Jan. 8 and charged with criminal mischief after driving an SUV through a fence.

Brentwood

A 2003 GMC Envoy was stolen from in front of a house on Merrill Street Jan. 6. The vehicle had been left running.

The side mirror and passenger door of a 2008 Nissan Altima parked at Heartland Golf Park were damaged Jan. 3.

License plates were discovered stolen Jan. 5 from a location on Front Avenue.

A 1996 Honda Civic on Candlewood Road was stolen Jan. 5.

East Islip

A cash register was stolen from Field 5 Collectibles on West Main Street Jan. 6.

Islandia

A Middle Island man, 35, was charged with shoplifting a television from the Walmart on Veterans Highway Jan. 4.

Islip

A car on Buffalo Avenue was discovered broken into Jan. 4.

A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked at Shop Rite on Route 27 Jan. 3.

Lake Grove

All four tires on a 1993 Geo at Smithaven Mall were punctured Jan. 6.

Oakdale

A mailbox on Middlesex Avenue was broken off its post Jan. 4 and later recovered on a neighbor's doorstep.

Sayville

A vinyl fence was damaged at a house on Foster Avenue Jan. 9.

A side window of a car parked on Main Street was smashed Jan. 8 and a Toshiba laptop and digital camera stolen.

ELSEWHERE

Commack

A customer returned to The Home Depot on Jericho Turnpike Jan. 4 to retrieve keys and a BlackBerry from a self-serve terminal and couldn't find them.

An armful of womens' pants and T-shirts were stolen at The Gap on East Jericho Turnpike Jan. 3.

North Bellport

Cash and a laptop were discovered stolen Jan. 5 from an Eastern BOCES' classroom on Martha Avenue.

A Riverhead woman, 39, was arrested Jan. 5 at a store in Bellport Outlets and charged with concealing merchandise in her backpack.

North Patchogue

A man was seen stealing items from the Petco on Sunrise Highway Jan. 9.

Patchogue

A 2003 Dodge van was stolen Jan. 6 from Haverty Auto and Plate Glass on Route 112.
