Reports from county or village police, Feb. 21-27
Windshield wiper blades were discovered missing Feb. 23 from a 1994 Buick on Wards Lane.
A 2003 Nissan Murano on Sunrise Service Road North was stolen Feb. 25.
Copper piping was discovered stolen Feb. 21 from an unoccupied house on Cranberry Street.
A burglar entered a residence on Magnolia Street Feb. 22 through a side door and removed two wallets from the house.
A Nissan Sentra was stolen from the Tens Machine Co. parking lot on Grundy Avenue. The owner of the car left the unattended vehicle running.
An unlocked 2000 Toyota Avalon was stolen from the 7-Eleven parking lot on Broadway Avenue on Feb. 22 while the owner was inside the store buying coffee.
Copper piping was discovered missing Feb. 21 from a house under renovation on Dale Drive.
Jewelry and a pocketbook were stolen from a house on Penn Street on Feb. 21.
ELSEWHERE
A diamond necklace was stolen from the Diamond Jewelers store on Middle Country on Road Feb. 21. Police were told that the suspect fled the store on foot.
A pocketbook, Coach wallet, cash and personal papers were stolen from a 2001 Hyundai Sonata parked at McCarthy's Bar on Middle Country Road on Feb. 21. The driver-side window of the vehicle was broken.
An HP Laserjet printer was stolen from the Staples store on Jericho Turnpike Feb. 23. One person held the door open while another ran out of the store carrying the printer.
A 2006 Mitsubishi truck in the parking lot of a business on Route 112 was marked with graffiti Feb. 22.
The window of a 1997 Saturn was discovered smashed Feb. 23. A GPS unit and a pocketbook were reported stolen.
Boxes of Verizon cellular phones were stolen from a business on Rabro Drive on Feb. 23. The side door was pried open, and the wall mounted alarm system was disabled during the burglary.
A burglar entered a residence on Adrianne Lane on Feb. 24 and removed iPods, a MacBook Pro laptop, a Wii game console, controller and games and assorted jewelry.
A Medford man and a Bellport woman, both 24, were arrested Feb. 21 and charged with petty larceny for stealing circuit breakers from The Home Depot store on Independence Plaza.
