An unoccupied house was ransacked March 14. Nothing was reported stolen.
A fight between two men at Mulcahy's Bar on Middle Country Road moved outside and into the adjacent McDonald's parking lot March 14. One man was injured and treated at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
A Glenmere Lane house was burglarized March 14. Entry was gained through a side door. Jewelry and photographs were stolen.
License plates were discovered missing from a van parked in a driveway on Miramar Avenue March 17.
On March 14, an unknown person(s) entered Brooklyn Pizzeria on Portion Road from the business next door by way of an adjoining ceiling. A water pipe was broken in the process, setting off an alarm.
Islip
A John Deere lawn mower, a trimmer and a rototiller were discovered stolen from a shed on 39th Street March 14.
A welder was stolen from an unlocked garage on Moffitt Boulevard March 14.
The front glass door at Tina's II Restaurant & Pizzeria on East Main Street was smashed March 15. A cash register was stolen from the premises.
Two Honda 400 EX quads were stolen from the side yard of a Meadow Avenue house March 14.
A resident on Tarpon Avenue told police March 17 that an engagement ring was stolen from a bedroom closet.
An E-ZPass was stolen from a 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander on Industrial Boulevard March 18.
A GPS unit was stolen from a 2007 Chevrolet parked at a residence on Uncas Street March 14. The vehicle's driver's side window had been broken.
A jackhammer was stolen from a 2005 Chevrolet parked on Jefferson Street March 14.
Hand tools and a leaf blower were stolen from a shed on Locust Avenue March 17.
ELSEWHERE
A driver reported an unidentified vehicle struck her vehicle on Fox Hill Drive March 19.
An unidentified male was observed in the rear yards of Seacove Lane residences March 20.
A 2009 Kawasaki KX250 and 2003 Honda XR100 were stolen March 14 from a residential shed on Bauer Avenue.
Forty-seven watches, valued at more than $1,000, were stolen March 14 from the Timex Outlet on West Main Street.
