At its July 27 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:
Bay Shore: Granted Great South Bay Brewery permission to establish a brewery operation, northeast corner of Union Boulevard and Saxon Avenue.
Bay Shore: Denied Barbara McGinn permission to retain a detached garage with insufficient height and building separation and to retain a second-story deck and stairs with insufficient side yard, west side of Brookdale Avenue, south of Lakeland Street.
Bay Shore: Granted Maria Lapaz permission to use dwelling, for three years, for a two-family, family-use only, west side of Brightshore Boulevard, south of Locust Drive.
Central Islip: Granted William Babinsky permission to subdivide a lot into two parcels; parcel 1, granted permission to build a dwelling on lot with insufficient area and width; parcel 2, granted permission to build a dwelling on lot with insufficient width, northwest corner of Commercial Boulevard and Joshua's Path.
