At its Feb. 10 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:
Bay Shore: Granted William G. Hurtado permission to use dwelling for a two-family, family-use only, east side of Heckscher Avenue,
north of Hemlock Drive.
Brentwood: Granted Daniel Zorrilla, life estate, permission to renew a permit for a two-family dwelling, family-use only, north side of West Plum Street, east of
Mayflower Road.
Central Islip: Granted St. John of God R.C. Church permission to retain three buildings: building 1 with insufficient rear yard; and buildings
2 and 3 with insufficient rear yards. Granted permission to retain a shed, an 8-foot fence on property line and a hockey rink with insufficient side and rear yards and setback, northeast corner of Carleton Avenue and St. John's Street (through lot to Third Avenue).
