At its Aug. 3 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Bay Shore: Granted Linda Longo and Patricia Wright permission to retain a two-story dwelling with additions with insufficient side yard, west side of North Clinton Avenue, south of Cooper Lane.

Brentwood: Granted Gloria E. and Mario Zapata permission to retain a roofed-over cellar entrance and a retaining wall with insufficient rear yard and retain and a 5-foot fence on front property line with insufficient setback, northwest corner of Fletcher Street and Adams Avenue.
