At its June 22 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

East Islip: Granted J. Scott Varga permission to retain a deck, pool patio, pool equipment and patio with insufficient side and rear yards, east side of Yuma Lane, south of

Manistee Lane.

East Islip: Denied Lawrence

M. and Michelle Alper permission

to retain a 6-foot fence on front-yard property line with insufficient setback, and granted permission to retain a pool patio and shed with insufficient side, rear and front yards, northwest corner of Adams Street East and Heckscher Spur.
