At its Feb. 23 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:

Bay Shore: Granted Tariq Mohammad permission to retain a roofed-over patio and shed with insufficient side yard, south side of Long Shore Street, west of Riley Street.

Bay Shore: Granted Zaid Investments, Inc. permission to build a one-story building with insufficient arterial highway setback, southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and Marvin Road.

Bay Shore: Granted Erman and Margarita Bravo permission to retain a cellar entrance and a shed with insufficient side yard, east side of Central Boulevard, north of Elm Drive.

Bohemia: Granted Michael Mastrangelo permission, for three years, to establish an accessory apartment, east side of Locust Avenue, north of West Golf Street.
